About Scriptly
Scriptly is a content planning and recording app for creators, built around a teleprompter that scrolls by listening rather than on a timer. Speech recognition tracks where you are in the script and advances the text at your actual pace, so a pause, an ad-lib or a slow line no longer forces a retake or a fiddle with scroll speed. Around the prompter, the app holds the rest of the pre-production workflow: scripts are written and organized in one library so the next video is already drafted when inspiration hits, and they can be scheduled ahead of a shoot. An Apple Watch companion starts and stops recording and adjusts the teleprompter text without reaching for the phone, which matters when the phone is mounted for the shot. The app is currently in public beta and is aimed at short-form creators shooting for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.
