About hob

hob is a professional desktop workspace for developers who already live in agent CLIs and have more agents running than they can watch. Instead of juggling terminals, it brings Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode into one window where agent sessions are first-class objects: panes can be split and tiled, agents hand work off to one another, and every run, diff, issue and pull request stays linked to the conversation that produced it. The agents themselves act as users of the workspace, shaping it around each task and coordinating through it while the developer stays in control of what each one did. hob deliberately does not sell inference — provider subscriptions run directly inside the app, so no tokens are resold and no workflow is handed to a middleman. Everything runs locally on the developer's machine with a local history that outlives the session, and remote access from another device is end-to-end encrypted. Automations turn recurring work such as feedback triage or release notes into repeatable scheduled runs, with secrets held in hob so no agent or provider ever sees them.
