About GhostWriter by MyHandler
Ghostwriter is a writing feature of the MyHandler desktop app for Windows that removes the prompt from AI writing entirely. With the cursor placed in any text field — a mail client, Slack, a browser form, a comment box — a double-tap of a hotkey makes the app capture the screen region around that cursor, including the thread above it and the half-finished sentence in it, and use that as the whole input. It first classifies what kind of writing the situation calls for (a reply owed in a thread, a continuation from where a sentence stops, a blank answer box, or a message composed from scratch) before drafting, so continuations do not restate the existing sentence and replies do not summarize the thread back. It also maps messages to senders to work out which handle belongs to the user, and cross-checks any proposed meeting time against the next two weeks of a connected calendar. Screen capture and the encrypted vault stay local on the PC; the assembled context goes to a zero-retention cloud model to produce the draft, which is typed at the cursor and never sent automatically.
