Ahead-of-time web automation that records browser sessions and compiles them into reusable deterministic skill commands to reduce agent token use.
Freu is an automation suite and CLI that transforms recorded browser interactions into reusable, deterministic skills. Using a Chrome extension to capture user interactions and CDP commands, freu-cli compiles sessions into a structured JSON DSL (SKILL.md and <Cmd>.json steps) that agents can load and execute without re-parsing the DOM. This ahead-of-time (AOT) approach offloads repeated UI reasoning from LLMs, cutting agent token usage (claims up to ~90%) and improving stability of complex workflows. Freu exposes a local HTTP bridge (typically Python at 127.0.0.1:8787) to integrate skills into agent pipelines and is being extended toward OS-level desktop automation (Computer Use Agent) and vision-based desktop orchestration.
