Open-source framework for building agents that act inside real apps, with shared actions, SQL-backed state, tools, and observability.
Agent Native is an open-source framework from Builder.io for building robust agents that operate inside real applications rather than as a chatbot bolted on the side. It provides primitives for production-grade agentic software, including shared actions, SQL-backed state, identity, tools, skills, jobs, observability, and UI surfaces that work together. A core idea is to define an action once and reuse it from the UI, an agent, an API, MCP, A2A, or the CLI. The framework is backend-agnostic, plugging into any Drizzle-supported SQL database and Nitro-compatible host, so teams bring their own database, hosting, model stack, and app code. It also ships full, free, open-source SaaS templates that can be cloned and fully customized rather than scaffolded.
