About Kelam
Kelam is a telephony layer for AI assistants: it gives an agent a persistent phone number so it can dial out to businesses that have no API or booking page, and pick up inbound calls on the same line. Setup is a single sentence pasted into Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar agents, which installs the Kelam CLI and skill (or a Claude Code plugin) and creates a workspace with its own number; non-technical users can instead describe an agent in plain English in the browser Builder. On a call the agent navigates phone trees, waits through hold queues, leaves voicemails, switches between English, Spanish and French mid-sentence, and can hand a live caller to a human. Because the number stays with the workspace, a business that rings back hours later reaches the same agent with the conversation context intact. Every call returns the recording, transcript and the requested facts as data, and billing is per second of talk time with a hard $2 cap per call and no charge for unanswered calls.
