InstaVM provides a production-grade control plane and local sandbox for running autonomous AI agents inside lightweight Firecracker microVMs. It focuses on secure, observable, and controlled execution: fast microVM boot (sub-200ms), strict isolation, snapshotting, and egress/SSH controls so agents can be run like production services. InstaVM includes CLI and SDK integrations, a skills/plugin surface for agent tooling (e.g., Claude Code marketplace), and defaults to the OpenAI Agents sandbox-provider path while supporting orchestration-heavy workflows via a Python SDK. The platform is aimed at developers and teams building autonomous agents requiring reproducibility, safety, and operational observability.
