About QApilot MCP for Android

QApilot MCP is a Model Context Protocol server and CLI that connects an MCP-compatible AI client such as Claude Desktop, Cursor or OpenAI Codex to real Android devices and emulators, so mobile test flows can be described in plain English instead of written as Appium code. It runs locally over Appium 2.19 with the UiAutomator2 driver, installs as a global npm package and is registered in the client's mcpServers config, after which the assistant can start a session, launch an app by its Android package ID and execute each described step on the device in real time. A live preview URL is returned on app launch so the run can be watched in a browser while it happens, and readable step titles are generated automatically without exposing XPath. Once a run passes, the happy-path steps can be pushed into a QApilot project as a saved test case and later replayed individually, in batch, or driven from an Excel sheet, with reports available afterward. It is the AI-client entry point to the wider QApilot mobile QA platform, which covers autonomous crawling, Flutter and dual-device testing and self-healing execution.
